A FEMALE MP has been told she's doing women no favours after complaining about insults after a stoush in the Queensland Parliament.

Jann Stuckey called for action over comments by Information and Communication Technology Minister Robert Schwarten.

But Leader of the House Judy Spence told her: "You do women no great service by acting so sensitively on an issue such as this."

My Reply to the Paper:

"Communication Technology Minister Robert Schwarten is not known for his tact, let alone his broad-minded, that is tolerant of others’ views: willing to tolerate a wide range of ideas and behaviours.

I am amazed that the Labour Party has Judy Spence the Leader of the House. Is it because she made such a muck-up of any ministerial job they gave anointed her?"

Ms Spence had a few portfolios.. She was replaced as Police Minister by an Educated Member, Neil Roberts

Murder suspect identified through DNA test in US

FOR 17 months a vital clue to the killer of Sevda Bayrak was at the fingertips of police.

It lay in a strand of hair found under the right thumbnail of the Turkish-born 33-year-old during an autopsy that revealed she had been stabbed 22 times.

It lodged there as she fought for her life on the night of Saturday, November 26, 2005, inside her unit in Betts Street, Parramatta.

The technology exists in Australia to compare the DNA of blood from suspects to blood found at a crime scene, but Australia does not have the capacity to test for mitochondrial DNA from hair follicles, a Sydney court was told yesterday.

So the weeks passed until last month, when police decided to send the strand of hair for testing in New Orleans. It was compared to saliva volunteered by a number of persons of interest, including Yusif Aytugrul, 41, a Turkish-born immigrant of Auburn. The US experts allegedly found a positive match.

Aytugrul was charged with murder before Burwood Local Court yesterday. The court heard that he had a brief relationship with Ms Bayrak.

Samantha Mitchell, for the Director of Public Prosecutions, alleged Aytugrul was obsessed with Ms Bayrak after the couple ended their brief relationship in 2003 and had "stalked" her and threatened her family.

Ms Mitchell said Aytugrul was interviewed by police a few days after the murder and denied ever having gone there. During a second brief interview 12 days after the murder he volunteered his DNA.

The court was not told why it took so long for police to send the hair follicle for tests abroad.

During an unsuccessful bail application for Aytugrul, the single father of a 10-year-old boy, his solicitor Iknur Bayari said her client intended to plead not guilty.

The magistrate, Jane Mottley, remanded him in custody to appear before Parramatta Local Court on July 26.

I stated in my blog that I had seen 2 young men .. one with fair bleached dread locks.. fair complex ... his companion, dark islander appearance, fuzzy hair ...like a Paupan.. Many backpackers work in the fruit & vegetable picking industry.. What is to say Daniel got friendly with some of these chaps, clever older men.. I too had been offered wonderful things... just did not believe them! Did the police go through all contacts with the Grand Parents... persons who worked, visited etc.. even Police, Social Workers, Nurses all so trusted, should be looked at closer..

Seeing I have not blogged here in some months I will and a few pictures of recent times..

The Room I slept in whilst sleeping over to help a local Senior Citizen Adjust to living in her own Home
after her second fall followed by a Stint in Hospital. She was not allowed home unless she had someone
Sleeping Over..

Princey 44 is not so well herself and sleep was disrupted mostly by her own cough as well as fumes from traffic .. motor vehicles left running outside the store next door. The flat was a converted butcher shop, with poor ventulation.

The Flat or old butcher's shop followed by 'general store' where one can purchase expensive take away food
or eat at few tables indoors, or out front. Princey44 has found the food is left too long in the hotbox it dries out and is quite unpalatable if not dangerous to eat. Just a few months and things have become slack as well as a sharp price increase. Next bet they will go bust! Still getting away from subject of the flat and my charge or client.

My photo uploading came to a standstill. so I am finishing up for now..
